A positive mindset is key to building, creating and maintaining a successful and healthy life. It is about striving for the best that you can be and focusing on the methods and daily practices which will take you on the start of your journey and will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success and believes that they can overcome any obstacle or difficulty. To use it in your life you need to be more than just aware of its existence. You need to adopt the attitude of positive thinking and apply it to everything that you do.

To begin on the path of positive thought can take a lot of practice, patience and resilience. It will not just magically happen overnight. Life is not black and white; so to utilise a pragmatic approach is key. Try to steer clear from negative viewpoints which can encourage extreme statements about yourself and others such as 'hate', 'loathe, 'fat', 'stupid', 'failure'.

Think about how you feel about yourself. What are your goals? What you want to achieve? How are you are going to reach and maintain them? Remember be realistic.
